Now it's even more challenging to attract top talent...

Their is an increasing talent shortage brought about by the affects of the pandemic and "The Great Resignation" (see the trends report to the right in "Something useful for you from KornFerry"). Companies are now finding it even more challenging to find and attract top talent into their organizations as high calibre candidates will evaluate companies even more against what they are looking for in their next role and are more likely to be keeping their options open as to which company they would like to join.


For key roles, putting out a job ad may no longer attract the person you are looking for soon enough. I can support you and your company in staying ahead of the competition by finding and attracting the talent your looking for in a time and cost-effective way. 


I'm currently working with companies in the Sweden, Belgium and the UK on senior to mid-level recruitments. In my experience, I've successfully found and attracted top talent for companies such as Trelleborg, American Express Global Business Travel, Digital Route, IDEX Biometrics and Borregaard. 


Here are the steps I've developed and use:


Step 1: BENCHMARKING - If needed, I conduct benchmarking. At this first stage I find 5-10 candidates, maybe from different sectors, levels of experience etc. to discuss with you. This step can help you and the hiring team explore possible options and calibrate on the priorities for the search.


Step 2: LONGLIST OF POTENTIAL CANDIDATES -  Full mapping of the market for potential candidates. I don't use a talent pool, instead i do a new search with every assignment based on your specific needs.


Step 3: CONTACT AND MEETINGS -  In this stage I contact, and have meetings with, potential candidates. All meetings are conducted virtually.  


Step 4: SHORTLISTING CANDIDATES - To not waste your time with unnecessary interviewing, I recommend the top 3-5 candidates to be shortlisted and interviewed. 


Step 5: PLACEMENT OF A CANDIDATE - If needed, I can act as a facilitator in the salary negotiation stage and support you with reference checking for the chosen candidate. 


Depending on your needs, I can conduct the full end-to-end search as outlined above or parts of it, for example if you had an internal hiring process and you wanted to compare internal candidates with those in the market I can support you with only doing a market mapping of potential candidates.
